Your chart.
A different perspective.

Keep price at the centre of your decisions. Waveform adds a visual layer for reading momentum and planning what comes next.

Momentum, signals and divergence.
One connected view.
01

Find the setup.

Look for a large signal circle and its confirmed divergence diamond for a core setup.

02

Look for confluence.

Wait for confirmation, check price structure, and plan your stop and position size.

03

Manage the move.

Take planned partial exits at opposing dots; close or tighten the remainder at opposing confirmed divergence.

THE WAVEFORM APPROACH

Think in months.
Build over time.

Our aim is patient accumulation through planned trades, rather than chasing quick riches. Give a setup room to develop, manage the downside and let the trade earn its next step.

DAILY + WEEKLY

Start with the bigger picture.

Daily and weekly charts are where we place our highest conviction. Start with the bigger picture to assess momentum, identify swing setups and build your trade plan.

30–90 DAYS

Plan for a longer hold.

Plan around a 30–90-day swing-trade horizon. Some trades finish sooner; stronger runners can last longer. Let the setup and your exit rules guide how long you stay in the trade.

SHORTER TIMEFRAMES

Add another layer of evidence.

Waveform can aid shorter-term and day-trading decisions, but we place less confidence in those signals alone. Pair them with price structure, support and resistance, or your existing strategy to plan setups, entries and exits.

CHOOSE YOUR EXPOSURE

Same signals. Different risk.

Our starting point is unleveraged spot. For traders who understand and choose leverage, our preferred approach is 3× rather than 5× or 10×. Even 3× carries substantial risk: leverage changes exposure, not signal quality.

Spot

Our starting point

Trade with your own capital, without borrowing. Unleveraged spot avoids margin liquidation, but the asset can still lose substantial value. A sell signal can inform reducing or exiting a holding; spot alone does not open a short.

3×

Our preferred leverage level

For those choosing leverage, use deliberate position sizing and a predefined exit plan. Losses are magnified as well as gains, and liquidation remains possible.

5× / 10×

Greater exposure. Closer management.

Experienced traders may use Waveform within a higher-leverage strategy. That requires more selective entries, careful sizing, closer monitoring and regular review of stop placement. Higher risk tolerance alone does not make a setup suitable.

Protect the trade before pursuing the upside. Set stops around the setup’s invalidation and market volatility, then size the position to the loss you can accept. Do not simply squeeze a stop closer to justify more leverage. Stop orders can slip and do not guarantee protection from liquidation. Funding or borrowing costs can also accumulate over a long hold.

THE CORE TRADING FRAMEWORK

Confirm the setup.
Manage every step.

We aim to capture opportunities in rising and falling markets throughout the year. Follow a clear process for confirming entries, managing risk and taking profits as the move develops.

Circle first. Diamond confirms.

The green circle marks the bullish setup. Wait for the later confirmation diamond before assessing the long entry. The entry marker points to the confirmation candle, not the earlier pivot.

01

Open with confirmation.

For a core long setup, pair a large green signal circle with confirmed bullish divergence. For a core short setup, pair a large red circle with confirmed bearish divergence. Wait for the actual confirmation diamond and a completed signal candle; do not backdate the entry to an earlier pivot. Check price structure and risk before entering.

02

Set the stop. Size the trade.

Place a long stop below the relevant confirmed swing low, or a short stop above the relevant confirmed swing high, with a buffer for normal volatility and spread. Choose the stop from the setup, then size the position from the loss you can accept. If that risk does not fit, reduce size or skip the trade.

03

Take partial profits.

At each new confirmed large opposing dot, take the partial exit specified in your plan while the trade is in profit. Use the large fixed-row signals, not the small dots on the wave. Decide the fraction before entering and whether it applies to original or remaining size. If the trade is losing, treat the action as risk reduction, not profit-taking.

04

Close or protect the remainder.

When a large opposing circle is paired with confirmed opposing divergence, close the remaining position or tighten its stop according to your preplanned exit rule. If trailing, use a closer valid price-structure level and never loosen the stop to increase risk. On a combined signal, this remainder decision takes priority over the ordinary partial-exit step.

05

Reassess the other direction.

After closing, the opposing circle and confirmed diamond can form a new setup in the other direction. Recheck the entry, stop, position size and trading instrument before opening it. A reversal is a fresh trade, not an automatic flip. Unleveraged spot can sell a holding and wait for re-entry; it cannot open a short.
